finance success habits

Many of us have struggled to discover the key to financial success throughout our lives. However, many people live comfortable lives due to their financial success. Practically, many of these successful, rich individuals share a few tendencies. The top 23 practices followed by financially successful persons are listed below.

1. They have a solid understanding of finances

Financially successful individuals are conscious of the most recent economic trends and constantly learn more about them to manage their money wisely.

2. They begin early

It’s never too early to consider and plan your financial future. Every little bit you can save counts, whether opening a savings account when you’re still living with your parents or contributing to a retirement plan as early as possible.

3. They pay attention to the long term

People who are currently financially successful did not begin making plans for it yesterday. A crucial habit to develop if you want to succeed financially is the capacity to consider long-term financial objectives while managing current financial situations.

4. They establish goals

Most individuals would accept that the world’s most successful business people most likely did not simply born with the designation of the CEO of a renowned company. It is more likely that they developed the habit of setting goals at a young age and continued to do so even after achieving their first targets.

5. They create and adhere to a budget

Planning for your financial requirements and placing restrictions on particular expenditure categories will provide better long-term outcomes. Anyone can create a budget, but it takes more discipline to stick to it.

6. They have respect for money and know its worth

The people who realize and appreciate the importance of money will end up with more of it because the modern world orbits around the almighty dollar.

7. They lead to frugal living

Many of the world’s wealthiest individuals live abundant lives filled with numerous pleasures that most people can only imagine. However, they didn’t begin with a penthouse and a plane. The majority of them began by being thrifty and living within their means. They assess their spending to cut out what is superfluous and regularly change their budget as they see fit.

8. They spend as little as possible on recurrent, monthly costs

They set and adhere to a budget, reviewing and, if feasible, lowering their monthly expenses. They can save a higher percentage of their income by eliminating this wasteful spending.

9. They restrain impulsive purchases

We occasionally experience the sudden need to purchase something we want but may not need. The capacity to restrain this temptation sets individuals who lead financially comfortable lives apart from most others.

10. They prioritize saving money

If you can preserve money throughout your career, simple math will show you that you will have a much more secure financial future. Many of today’s most successful people share the practice of consistently setting away a portion of their income for savings. You may attain this aim by having a little percentage of your paycheck automatically transferred into a savings account each payday. You will probably never even realize the minor change in your income.

11. They keep tabs on their debt

It’s simple to occasionally lose track of how much you owe on your loans or credit cards. However, those who are financially successful frequently understand their actual debt load, the applicable interest rates, and any additional expenses incurred due to those obligations. You will better decide which debts to pay off quickly and which ones may wait a while if you keep track of them.

12. They pay off and stay away from debt

When debt is not an obstacle, achieving financial success is simple. While many of us find it difficult or impossible to avoid getting into debt, it should be our first aim to strive to pay as much of it off as we can.

13. They don’t put things off

They pay a bill as soon as they get it. They don’t put off paying bills in the hopes that they will go away or ignore them to rack up excessive fees or interest by delaying payment. They instantly settle their unsecured debts, including their credit card bills, medical bills, utility bills, and others with a debt settlement plan.

14. They make plans for the future

Early retirement investment selections can only advance your chances of achieving financial stability in later life. Contributing to a 401(k) plan or other safe investments can guarantee a more comfortable financial future for you.

15. They manage risk properly

There are several ways that a financial strategy might go wrong. One of the most crucial methods to safeguard your collected wealth and develop financial success is effectively managing these possible barriers, whether they involve investment risk, health risk, auto, liability, or homeowner risk. If you get sick, suffer an accident, or face any other financial setbacks, even a sizable amount of savings might be lost in seconds.

The good news is that even if there are a lot of hazards, many of them may be reduced with the help of appropriate insurance and estate planning. Make it a habit to periodically verify your insurance coverage quantities to ensure they’re sufficient to safeguard what you’ve previously accomplished. Consider creating an estate plan to protect your assets in the case of your incapacity or passing, and keep in mind that being fully insured now would save you time, money, and effort in the long run.

16. They remain patient

It’s pretty uncommon for someone to become rich overnight. Most frequently, years of toil and perseverance are what lead to success. The most important habit to develop is patience if you want to achieve that goal.

17. They are cautious when making choices

This behavior is frequently shared by those who have achieved financial success. They rarely act without giving the issue a detailed view. Instead, they invest the necessary time in exploring the options, keeping an eye on the situation, and concentrating on what matters most. They take the time required to make thoughtful, measured conclusions supported by reasoning.

18. They refrain from micromanaging

Maintaining healthy habits after becoming a saver and investor requires more mental stability. It’s natural to want to take money out of the market when things are unsafe and put cash in when prices allow you to purchase low as you watch your assets ride the economic ups and downs.

That loses its appeal over time, and most financial gurus advise you to stick with your plan regardless of the circumstances. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you constantly change your investments in response to market ups and downs or movements in the industrial area you’ve chosen to invest in. The good news is that there are Robo-advisor services like Betterment, Ellevest, and Wealthfront that assist you in funding in accordance with your goals and automatically manage your whole portfolio so that your feelings don’t influence your choices.

19. They accept lessons from past mistakes

It’s typical to make financial blunders throughout life. We all make errors, but those of us who eventually succeed financially do more than make mistakes—they also learn from them. It is acceptable to celebrate achievement, but it is more crucial to learn from loss, according to Bill Gates, a well-known billionaire.

20. They never give up hope

Another extremely uncommon occurrence is for a fresh idea to become popular immediately. However, those that finally succeed are rarely seen giving up on their objectives easily. On the path to financial success, be ready for dead ends, difficult times, and unexpected turns.

21. They don’t assess themselves against others

Simply put, those that are financially successful do not care about what others are doing. By seeing what others have and attempting to get it themselves, they do not squander time or money. They never lose sight of their own objectives and resources.

22. They give up cynicism

Financially successful people think that their “human capital,” or capacity to labor for a lengthy time horizon, is the only financial asset they have. You’ve probably heard people saying “work smarter, not harder” before. This implies that little and early advancements may go a long way toward placing you for financial success if you start saving. This is true even if you seek the smallest incremental possibilities to improve your income in your sector (or via a few side hustles).

If you work in the business sector, bear in mind that a pessimistic and suspicious outlook might harm your ability to generate money. Indeed, cynics frequently make less money than upbeat people who have strong social networks and social capital that may help them throughout their career.

23. They collaborate with experts as advisers

Even the most successful and intelligent people in the world occasionally need the help of other experts. They don’t hesitate to ask professionals or other people who have expertise in a given field for their opinion or feedback.

How to Maintain an Energy-Efficient Lifestyle

Energy is an invisible force that affects human life. The total value of life, our efficiency, and our ability to cope with any problems depend on energy. In the age of speed and modern reality, each of us lacks the strength and time to cope with everyday tasks. Due to its lack, we begin to feel tired, weak, and unwilling to do anything. If the body sends us signals, they should not be ignored. Where to get life energy? How to replenish energy to become healthy and successful in all areas of life?

Causes Of Energy Deficiency

The decline in vitality depends on various factors: sleep quality, adequate nutrition, peace of mind, physical activity. During the day, we can use up all the energy supply for unnecessary things, and by the evening, we will feel weak, weak, and tired. The life force of a person must be spent sparingly. If your health is normal, but the feeling of powerlessness and apathy is still present, pay attention to your lifestyle. A body with signs of fatigue and weakness will not provide enough energy if we do not eliminate reasons such as bad habits, poor sleep quality, insufficient exercise, poor diet, and poor environmental conditions.

In addition, negative emotions such as resentment, envy, anger, discouragement, and anger can affect strength. It would help if you got rid of them in time, avoiding intense experiences that block the channels of incoming energy. Internal conflicts, an endless overabundance of thoughts and decisions in your head are also harmful, worsening our standard of living.

Energy Recovery Methods

High energy is the key to our success, so we need it like air. An active life, performance, and success depend on it. If the energy flows are at zero, we will not have enough strength to move towards our goals and dreams. When it’s challenging to get out of bed in the morning, exercise, go out and go to work, we try to figure out where to get energy. We drink a few cups of coffee or energy drinks and eat chocolate, thinking that this will help us. It turns out that this is useless. We only take away the last strength from the body. To deal with the situation, use the tips below:

Positive Emotions

We want to be active, to keep up with everything and everywhere. How can we raise our vitality? You need to replenish your body with energy in time in an accessible way, having learned to tune yourself to positive and positive emotions. There is a lot of free energy around us, which increases the level of vitality. We do not forget to sleep, eat and drink when we feel like it, but we fail to work with internal energy or are simply lazy. Make an effort on yourself, and it will be crowned with success.

Healthy Eating

Food is of great importance as a source of energy. Getting it with natural food, we are filled with strength for an active life. Healthy food (fresh vegetables and fruits, nuts, herbs, cereals) gives us a surge of strength and vitality. For a modern person, “live” food is the base of physical energy. In contrast, “dead” food contaminates the body and worsens health. To stay alert and healthy, you need to maintain a balanced diet and drink enough clean water.

Physical Activity

Energy replenishment can be obtained from movement. Train yourself to walk because movement is life. Even after a hard day at work, you shouldn’t take the bus if you can walk. As a result, you will get a boost of energy for evening household chores. Besides, it would be best if you started traveling on the road with an international driving permit.

Just visiting a neighboring country will give you an emotional reboot. Sport forces the brain to release endorphins (hormones of joy), and any movement enriches the body with oxygen.

Work Out

After a feasible workout, especially in the fresh air, we feel cheerful and energized. May an active lifestyle be welcomed! Buy a gym membership or work out with gym equipment from the comfort of your home! Even simple walking, jumping, or biking with a motorized bike will give us an assertive, positive attitude and boost our energy.

Sound Sleep

Normalize sleep and ensure you have a good night’s rest. You need to learn how to get enough sleep and relax. Always make time for your body to rest. Disturbed sleep prevents the body from resting and recovering. For an adult, 6-8 hours of sleep is enough to feel a surge of energy. The quality of sleep is influenced by a comfortable resting place and a schedule. Try to go to bed at the same time. Don’t stay up late at night. Fall asleep no later than 11 pm and wake up at sunrise. To wake up with nature means to be filled with its powerful energy.

Conclusion

Start working on yourself, identify the reasons where vitality is leaking and what you are doing wrong. Analyze your life and values that are important to you, calculate the moments from which the body suffers, from which internal burnout occurs, and try to figure out how to fix everything. Free yourself from anger and irritation, start doing good deeds because all good deeds come back like a boomerang. This is the law of life!

4 Tips to Build Healthy Habits Quickly

When it comes to your health and wellness, time is always of the essence. Whether you’re in your 20s, 60s, or somewhere in between, you should never take your physical and mental well-being for granted.

After all, your physical health can have a huge impact on your overall happiness, quality of life, and even your productivity at work. As such, the quicker you can develop –– and maintain –– healthy habits, the better.

Here, we’ll share four tips that will help you kickstart this process so that you can start making progress in weeks instead of months and months instead of years.

1. Put Money on It

Let’s say that you have a goal of running 30 miles in a month. This is a great goal for beginners, and it may help you become a healthier person fairly quickly. The only problem is that many individuals struggle to stay motivated for weeks or months at a time.

And if you’re not willing to put in the work day after day, you’re unlikely to reach your fitness objectives.

So it’s generally a good idea to find ways to keep yourself motivated and focused. Putting money on a goal, and rewarding yourself for reaching it, can help you keep your eyes on the prize when you become tired and discouraged.

2. Partner Up

Two heads are better than one –– at least in terms of producing positive, healthy outcomes! Studies have shown that individuals who work out in a group are more likely to work out longer and better than those who try to go it alone.

What’s more, teaming up with your partner, a friend, or family member on a diet can help keep you honest and on target. Note, hiring a personal trainer may be a good idea as well for some people.

3. Have More Fun

Working out, dieting, and living a healthy lifestyle shouldn’t feel like a grind. If you hate your current fitness routine, then make changes so that you enjoy it more. Look for alternative healthy meal options.

Join a recreational sports league. Listen to music when you work out. Whatever you have to do to have more fun and to take more pleasure from your routine will typically be worth the effort in the long run!

4. Speak to Your Doctor

While your friends and family may be able to provide you with emotional support when you start building new habits, your doctor will be able to offer more substantive health advice and assistance. Medical professionals can diagnose and treat a number of common issues that may be affecting your wellness right now.

Plus, they can provide you with innovative treatment options for virtually every medical issue –– from Gainswave therapy for E.D., to minimally invasive foot surgery for bunion pain. Remember, your doctor is your closest ally in the fight to build healthy habits. Don’t forget to stay in touch with them!

7 Ways to End Procrastination

Procrastination is one of the most common problems in the modern workplace, affecting both the young and the old who strive for success.

Taking control of your time might seem difficult if you have a lot of activities happening all the same time, which leads 75% of people to cultivate the habit of procrastinating.

Procrastination is the delaying of important tasks, usually by focusing on less urgent, more enjoyable and easier activities instead. It’s different from laziness, which is the unwillingness to act. Procrastination can restrict your potential and undermine your career.

Now to the main reason that you decided to open this article: the steps to beat procrastination.

I’ve defined and given a brief explanation of what the word procrastination means in general. Please note, I am not guaranteeing the steps I’m about to give will produce 100% results but I can give you about 75-80% assurance.

Let’s hop right into it…

1. Accept That You Procrastinate

You might be saying, “of course I know I procrastinate, so why this point?”

This is the exact statement that causes many people to build the habit of disagreeing with themselves and making yourself think you have a solid reason to procrastinate, but did you know, the moment you accept your wrong is the same moment fresh ideas to counter the habit of thoughts come in? Perhaps you have not thought of it this way.

Solving a problem without admitting that the problem actually exists is difficult, if not impossible.

You can spend all day procrastinating if you are not willing to admit you are procrastinating.

It’s nothing to be ashamed of. We all procrastinate from time to time, which is why you must know the reason why you procrastinate…

2. Know the Reason You Procrastinate

There are different reasons why everyone procrastinates: you might be bored, lacking finances, challenges may surround you, maybe you’re overworked, or you’re simply seeking perfection.

Here is a little finding from my personal observations; did you know that 65% of people who procrastinate are highly intelligent?

The fact is, people who have lower IQs struggle to see the bigger picture (i.e., everything you need to do).

The best methods to overcome procrastination are determined by the source of your procrastination, as it will determine the level of support you need to overcome.

The more you learn about yourself and reason why you procrastinate, the easier it is to find the right actions to stop the habit while it is still on its track.

Now here’s a simple tip…

3. Just Do the 2-Minute Tasks

When you are given a task that takes only two minutes of your time, don’t put it off.

Do it now and get rid of it. Stop postponing the simple stuff.

With this opportunity, you can stop procrastination. Constantly practicing this will help you improve.

4. Stop Multitasking

Multitasking is one of the biggest myths in time management.

Some people actually think they can perform more than one task at a time in order to complete it quickly and get to a higher standard, but it’s been proven over and over, we can’t multitask.

Focus on one task, complete it, then move to the next till you are done for the day. This will help to reduce your workload to a minimum against the next minute, hours, or even days.

5. Get Real

Many people right now live in a fantasy world, thinking everything in life comes easy without any applied effort.

Waking up in the morning is easy, sure, but how do we determine how the rest of the way will go without setting realistic goals?

Many wake up setting unrealistic goals for themselves which is a great way to get discouraged and succumb to the negative mood that fuels procrastination.

Setting realistic goals keeps things positive, which keeps you in the right mood to work.

6. Stop Claiming Perfection in Your Head

Movie directors, producers, and writers come up with plots and characters. They do a lot of brainstorming, writing page after page that they’ll never include in the book/movie.

They do this because they know that ideas need time to develop.

We tend to give up when it’s time to get started, because we have given deep thought to it, saying the idea(s) aren’t perfect and what would be produced might not be good.

How can you ever produce something great if you don’t get started and give your ideas time to evolve?

“You can edit a bad page, but you can’t edit a blank page”

Author Jodi Picoult

7. Focus Only on Results

The mentality of giving up on a task that seems to be proving tough is the downfall of many.

Don’t focus on the challenges attached. Just think of how great it’s going to feel to get it done and how much worse you’ll feel if you wait until the last minute and don’t give it your best effort.

You can beat procrastination. But the action part is up to you.

Choose Your Daily Actions Wisely - Your Future Self Will Thank You

Your eyes open. It’s morning. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the dogs are barking. It’s just like every other day. You get up, get dressed, go to work, get home, have dinner, and go to sleep. And behold, it’s morning once again.

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the dogs are barking. You get up, get dressed, go to work, get home, have dinner, and go to sleep.

Your eyes open once again. It’s morning.

And just as soon as you’ve heard the bird outside your window, you find yourself back in bed that night; gearing up to do the whole thing again tomorrow.

It won’t slow down

Time continues to move faster and faster. I don’t know why that is and I don’t know how to stop it. I’ve certainly tried though. Whether through meditation, forcing myself to be bored, changing my routine, being “more present,” you name it.

It doesn’t matter.

It keeps speeding up. And from what I gather, it will go on hastening each year we grow older. A realization that fills me with two opposing feelings:

  • Fear
  • And comfort

The fear I face, among others, is that of wasting my time. My life. Of having the days move by me so quickly that I don’t capitalize on them as I should. Yet conversely, I also feel comforted. Comforted knowing that whatever challenge I face, whatever difficult period I experience, it will pass.

But not just gradually pass. It will rapidly pass.

Think of this next time you blink

Look at your phone right now and observe the date and time. Really focus on it. Capture it in your mind.

Are you doing it? Ok now watch this.

You’re going to blink and it’s going to be a month from now. Not literally, per se, but pretty close. A month will soon go by and you’ll catch yourself thinking – “Woah… That Corey guy was right. It’s already been a month!”

And guess what?

From there, two months will go by. Then six months. Then a year. You will have long since forgotten about me and this article, but hopefully, the lesson behind it will still resonate with you. A lesson that the sooner you understand, the better your future will be.

Time moves quickly and you must optimize for it.

Make a change right now

The little things you do each day – the habits, small goals, routines – those things build up and compound with time.

I know it doesn’t feel like it. In fact, you may think I’m exaggerating but just wait. Because a month will soon pass and you will catch yourself looking at the calendar, amazed by how quickly it went. And when you find yourself in that position, ask:

Have I been using my time wisely each day?

Time will only continue to speed by as you grow older, so if you don’t look around nowand make a change, you will find yourself at the end of a path that you may not have wanted to go down.

How are you voting?

Author James Clear mentions in a blog post that:

“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.”

So consider, are your daily actions leading you to the person you want to be? Or are they leading you astray?

  • Examine the habits that you follow – do you often ditch running in lieu of a donut?
  • Consider your goals – do you regularly give up after a week or two, vowing that next time will be different?
  • Look at your routines – do you frequently replace a bedtime book with a reality-show binge?

If your actions aren’t properly serving you, make a change.

Determine what needs to be done and implement that into your life. Start small and build over time. For instance, if you want to read more, start small and read one page a day. If you want to run a marathon later this year, start small and run one mile each week.

Or if you want to build a marketing agency, start small and send out one cold email Monday through Friday.

How I became an avid reader

These actions, while seemingly minor and unimportant, compound with time and transform you into the person you yearn to be.

Speaking of reading, for years I wanted to be a voracious reader. But between a hectic schedule and a slower-than-average reading speed, it didn’t feel like a realistic option. I was determined though. So I started small. I:

  • Read briefly in my free time
  • Followed my interests and selected books that stood out to me
  • Looked into ways to enhance my reading speed

And as things progressed and the years passed, I eventually became the reader that I hoped to be. In fact, I presently complete four books a month on average.

Now, there’s obviously more to the story than just “start small,” but you get the gist.

To become the reader I was after, I had to use my time deliberately over the course of many days, weeks, months, and years, until reading eventually became part of who I am. Just like with running, cleaning, writing, strength training, or anything else for that matter.

Your daily actions moving forward

The actions you take each day dictate the person you will be tomorrow. Be aware of that and choose to act on those things that will move you in the right direction.

It won’t always be easy, but time is going to pass either way and it’s going to go quickly. Don’t fret though. Instead, let that knowledge comfort you. If there’s a challenge you face, do your best and know that it’ll soon be a month from now and you’ll have gotten through it.

So moving forward, be intentional, be patient, and watch how the molehill inevitably becomes the mountain.

PS: If you’re on the lookout for books related to habits or other such daily actions, I found Charles Duhigg’s book, The Power of Habit, to be insightful. The aforementioned author, James Clear, also has a book that you may find useful entitled, Atomic Habits.

The Secret to Establishing Credit Without a Credit Card

Establishing credit without a credit card isn’t impossible, regardless of what the credit companies want you to think.

It is possible to build your credit score by just managing what you owe properly and in a timely manner.

Read on to learn how to build credit history without a credit card.

Pay Down Your Student Loans

If you went to college, you likely have some debt from your schooling to pay off. Student loans show up on your credit history.

If you are late or miss payments, this affects your credit score. Likewise, on-time payments over time help build up your credit.

And, the faster you pay off this debt the better. You can create a DIY debt management program to help you pay off your debt.

Your credit rating is partly good payment behavior. But it is also about your debt to income ration. So the less you owe, the better for your rating.

Make Your Rent Payments Count

There are various rent-reporting services available such as RentTrack. These services input your bills onto your credit report.

This adds one more payment to your credit history. Your rating will reflect your on-time rent payments.

Although not every credit score company counts these rent-reporting services, some do. And it certainly can’t hurt your credit.

Get a Car Installment Loan

As far as loans go, car loans are the easiest to be approved for. If you need a car, look for a good deal for a loan. Not all rates are terms are equal so good research is important.

If you can’t get approved for a car loan on your own, find a co-signer to help you.

Then, just make sure you make your payments each month on-time without fail.

Make sure that you adequately budget so that you can afford the loan repayments. Carefully look at your paystubs or create your own at

Consider Non-Profit Lending Circles

Various non-profit organizations provide ways for people to build credit by offering financing options.

Organizations such as the Mission Asset Fund provide affordable loans and report positive payment history to the credit bureaus on your behalf.

Even a small loan, paid back consistently can boost your credit score.

Apply for a Secured Loan

A secured loan is a loan that you finance yourself. That makes it risk-free for your lender.

Secured loans work just the same way as a secured credit card.  You’ll simply deposit a set amount into your loan’s bank account. You can then “borrow” up to that amount that you deposited.

You can’t use more than what you deposited. And if you fail to make the loan repayments, your lender gets to keep your deposit.

Even though you are using your own money, it’s a great way to build credit. In fact, secured loans are often called credit-builder loans.

Before you apply for a secured loan, ask the lender to confirm that your on-time payments will show up on your credit report.

Final Thoughts on Establishing Credit

There you go! A few simple ways that you can work on establishing credit without a credit card.

Nobody became a professional writer in one day.

speech writing skills

There is no need to explain that there are no people who managed to become professional writers in one day.

Every famous writer started with fails and was criticized for improper word selection or inadequate presentation of the idea.

It is very important to brush up writing skills daily and never to give up.

Start with Elementary Issues

It is impossible to drive a plane without required knowledge and practicing. Each occupation demands persistent work and strong wish to achieve the desired results.

  1. Try to make each sentence to strike everyone with its sense and writing beauty. Take care of word selection and the way each word combination sounds.
  2. Try not just to describe but to involve the reader into the conversation. If the style allows, you could ask questions. Everyone who reads your story should feel that you respect him or her and take into consideration their presence.
  3. Investigate your vocabulary. Try to enlarge a number of spicy words to make your speech tasty. Get rid of sharp words which make your speech sound nasty and tasteless.
  4. Teach how to avoid abrupt endings between sentences and paragraphs. Everything should be smooth and irritate neither eye nor ear.
  5. Let it be dynamic. You could play with punctuation rules and voice changing.
  6. Experiment with the most popular means of speech (epithets, comparison, allegory, hyperbole, litotes, metaphor,  metonymy, irony, refrains, rhetorical figures, antithesis, alliteration, inversion, gradation, invective, eulogy, symbols, oxymoron, parallelism)
  7. Practice with the creation of your personal neologisms which will catch readers’ attention and occupy their mind.
  8. Think of unusual metaphors and epithets you can provide your audience with.
  9. Start with mini-stories to see if you are ready to write more.

The core idea of all this is to practice regularly. A beginner can burn a meat dish or undercook it. A master knows when it is time to stop and preserve softness and juiciness of the dish and not to spoil its taste.

You can find presentation templates online to help you with an outline.

Develop Habitual Writing

You’d better forget about all possible excuses as there is no time to write or I can do it later. Writing resembles a plant that needs constant care. It will not be able to survive without water, sun, air, and enough space. Your practicing is like a nourished soil for flora. There are several tips which could help you develop a habit to write and find no excuses.

  • Choose time measures for your writing. You might spend, for example, 25-30 minutes daily. It does not matter whether you will spend 25 minutes on writing in the morning or in the evening. The main thing is to do it daily.
  • Experts promise better results if the person creates at one and the same time. Still, living conditions can deprive us of that possibility. If you can plan and work your plan out, do it.
  • Think of the steps you should take. For instance, first, there must be an outline, second, choice of style, ways of idea presentation, writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Proofread slowly in order not to forget about some details, improve the sounding, and correct possible mistakes.
  • Vary your style and try to apply different genres and explore interesting topics.

Let It Be Unique

There writers whose papers one can recognize with the first sentence or even title. Your written speech should also reflect your individual style and taste. Things should not sound like “It is a pen”. That is too simple and nobody would enjoy it. Imagine that there are cooks who are to prepare some lenten dish for a special guest. There are a few people who prefer lenten dishes because they do not contain meat, milk, eggs, and very often fish, grease, or other products produced by animals. Such a task is a real challenge for a cook.

Writing is the same. One should not just write but satisfy wishes of millions. Mediocre papers drag your time to hell. It often happens that one can accomplish reading a novel faster than some short story due to writing easiness, captivating plot and mesmerizing presentation.

  • Headlines. One should study articles which belong to TOP ones due to their striking names. Learn how professionals do that.
  • Picking up words. Explore news reports and reviews of literature and movies to see what grabs you.
  • Comparison. Enlarge your library. Read books for various age groups to see how writers explain complicated things to children and how professionals turn simple ideas into global problems in books for “chosen” (for example, futurists believed that only chosen readers were capable to understand their poetry).
  • Convincing. Your core assignment is to make everyone trust your words. Make them sound realistic even if you are writing a science fiction story. If it is a brilliant comedy people will laugh. If it is an impressive drama people will sympathize and cry.
  • Empathy. A journalist travels to explore the world and be ready to publish the received experience in a book or an article. A reader trusts only those who have enough talent to describe a problem, culture, traditions, and beliefs appropriately. You are to let the idea go through you. If you have never felt cold you would never be able to picture that feeling.

Sometimes it is necessary to involve experts who will agree to check your works and point to mistakes. This can be a writing expert or even representatives of your target audience. If they adore a story and believe each word everyone will appreciate it as well. If you need instant help from academic experts, you can address a custom speech writing service which will prepare an original and high-quality paper from scratch.

How to Maintain Your Self-Discipline Habits https://moneyminiblog.com/creating-habits/self-discipline-habits/ Sat, 10 Nov 2018 11:00:00 +0000 http://moneyminiblog.com/?p=206518 self discipline habits

With self-discipline most anything is possible.

self discipline habits

Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States, once said that “with self-discipline most anything is possible.” While many of us realize that it takes a lot of control over our own actions to get where it is we want to go in life, that doesn’t mean that it’s always easy for us to maintain our positive self-discipline habits long enough to see any real progress.

Sure, our drive is generally pretty strong when we first start out, when our minds are filled with visions of how great our life will be once we master our own weaknesses. Yet, it’s not uncommon to soon have that drive tested as all of our old (and not-so-disciplined habits) threaten to creep back in.

So, what can you do to maintain your momentum with regard to your newly acquired self-discipline habits, ensuring that you’ll keep at them long enough to see some true results?

Know Your Why

Why is it that becoming self-disciplined is so important to you? Will it help you grow your business? Or maybe increasing your level of self-discipline at work means that you’ll have more time to spend at home with your spouse and children?

There really is no wrong answer to this question, but knowing why you want to change your habits and fully appreciating the value that being self-disciplined can bring to your life will help you stay motivated as you pursue more positive self-discipline habits.

If you’re having trouble figuring out your why, Southwestern Consulting suggests that you ask yourself a few “what” based questions instead. For instance, what do you want to be known for? And what do you want people to think of when they think of you? This helps you determine what is most important to you.

Limit Your Obstacles

If you set out to lose weight, how successful would you be if you stocked your kitchen cupboards full of chips, cookies, and candies? Not very, right?

Well the same is true if your goal is to become more self-disciplined. The more obstacles you can remove that can potentially sideline your new habits, the greater your chance of getting—and staying—disciplined.

For instance, if you know that checking your social media accounts can suck you in for hours at a time, make it a rule to only look at them once in the morning and once at the end of the day.

There are even apps you can download that can help with this, blocking access to these platforms during specific times of day. Reviewed shares that Offtime, Moment, and Flipd are three to consider.

Only Change One Habit at a Time

If your goal is to reach higher levels of success through self-discipline, T. Harv, author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind and founder of Peak Potentials Training, suggests that you shouldn’t try to change all of your habits all at once. Instead, focus on changing one main habit at a time.

Though it may feel like you’re going too slowly by focusing on just one, T. Harv says, “if you can just change one habit, I promise you this: your life will change.” In other words, the results of that one minor change can be enough to create major results.

So, make a list of all of the self-discipline habits you want to institute and pick one. Work on that habit only until it is something you begin to do without thought. Then and only then should you move on to another habit.

When you know your why, limit your obstacles, and focus on changing just one habit at a time, your self-discipline habits are more likely to stick. Which means that their results are more likely to stick too.

5 Simple Steps to Repair Your Credit Score https://moneyminiblog.com/creating-habits/credit-score-repair/ Fri, 28 Sep 2018 10:00:00 +0000 http://moneyminiblog.com/?p=206376 credit score repair

Bad credit can be a problem.

credit score repair

There’s not much worse than having bad credit. With bad credit, it can become difficult to receive a loan that is very much needed and can make it challenging to purchase a home or car, along with various other expenses that we now consider a necessity.

Fortunately, however, there is a way to repair your credit score in a relatively short amount of time as long as the right action is taken.

Although many currently suffer from a bad credit score, you don’t have to be one of them and can pull it up within several months by following the steps listed below.

1. Check Your Credit Score

First things first, you need to find out just how bad your credit score actually is by checking it.

Be sure to choose the website that you check your credit score on wisely as choosing the wrong one might lead to a slight drop in your score. However, this is very unlikely, especially if you go with a trusted name that has a reputation for being reliable.

In order to know whether or not your credit score is good, you need to have an understanding of how the scoring works. The scoring system ranges from 300 to 850, and the higher the score the better. Any score that is above 740 is considered to be very good and means you are likely to not face any difficulty getting a loan. A score that ranges from 580 to 739 is considered average to slightly above average. With a score in this range, you should be able to receive most loans without too much difficulty.

However, a score that drops below 580 is considered problematic by most loan services and may result in you not getting a loan.

2. Determine Why Your Score Is Low

After checking your credit score, the next step on the road to recovery is to gain an understanding as to why your score is actually low. In some cases, the low score can easily be attributed to a mistake found on your record or fraudulent activity.

In the event there is a mistake on your record, you can dispute the credit report error. Be sure to begin the dispute process as quickly as possible since the process can take a while to complete. However, eliminating any mistakes found on your credit report can result in a quick rise to your credit score without having to go through much trouble at all.

If you’ve simply struggled to pay back loans on time and there aren’t any mistakes on your report, then you may have to put in a little more effort to raise your score, and we provide ways to do just that below. Be sure to highlight all of the current debt that you have, ranking them from the most important to least important.

3. Begin Making Payments on Time

The next step – and arguably the most important one – is to begin making payments on time. The main reason people suffer from poor credit score is because they failed to pay off their loan on time each month, making it look as if they are unreliable in the eyes of future loan services that they may come across.

Therefore, the best way to repair your credit score is to simply stop paying late and begin paying on time. Now, I understand it’s far easier said than done. However, with the right financial planning, you can create a budget that works for you no matter your income level.

In the event your expenses and debt simply outweigh your income level, you may need to find an extra source of income. In some instances, you can negotiate with your loan provider to receive a more affordable monthly payment or even cease payments until you are in a better financial situation, especially if the source of your debt is student loans.

Once your budget is in order, begin making timely payments without missing a single one.

4. Get a Credit Card

It may sound like the complete opposite of what you should do, but getting a credit card after you begin to pay your debt on time is a fantastic way to raise your credit score. Of course, you have to make sure you pay everything back on time with the credit card as well.

The best way to utilize a credit card to raise your credit score is to charge small amounts to the card each month and pay the charge off in a very timely manner. In the event you simply can’t afford a credit card, then be sure to skip this step as not following through can result in your credit score getting worse.

Also, the credit card you choose matters. While there are credit cards that simply don’t work well when attempting to raise bad credit, using one of the best credit cards for bad credit allows you to quickly bring your credit score up with very little effort.

As with all credit, be sure to pay it off in a timely manner or else this strategy can backfire.

5. Pay Off Past Due Accounts

After beginning to make payments in a timely manner and using a credit card in a responsible manner, the next and last step is to pay off all past due accounts you may have.

While you can certainly do this slowly over time, the quicker you catch up on all late activity the faster you are going to see your credit score rise. In order to do this, it’s best to not only begin paying on time, but paying more than is necessary in an effort to catch up. Another great way to pay off past due accounts is to create a savings fund using an automatic bank transfer, which means parts of your paycheck each month goes into a savings fund instead of checking.

After you have saved enough money to pay off past due accounts, do so and you should see your credit score begin to rise rather quickly.

If you have any experience repairing a bad credit score, leave a comment with your thoughts, and share any helpful advice you may have in the section below.

3 Habits That Will Help You Manage More

The fast-paced world of today forces people to multitask regardless of their age, job, sex, and location.

Every social group has its duties and responsibilities: students have to attend classes and turn in assignments, working people have to somehow spend eight hours in the office and then deal with house chords, housewives are obliged to keep the house clean, cook, and look after children.

However, being busy does not mean you have to be constantly tired or stressed out. In order to avoid being overwhelmed by a heap of unfinished duties, we have prepared a habit list, which is designed to enable you to manage more during the day.

Habit #1: Cross Things Out

This habit is the simplest and most effective out of all the other types of habits successful people have. Setting up priorities is a key to be productive. Anyone who wants to manage more must stop planning a lot of things to do for the day. If you are used to writing long to-do lists, then learn how to shorten them.

In the beginning, it will be difficult for you to do this. Therefore, you should write whatever you want to do to be confident that nothing important is missed. Then, look through your list, boldly crossing out as many points as possible. Try to play a little game – can you cut the list so that it becomes half as short while also having the most important things you need to do?

However, that is not all. When you finish the list, put it aside for a while. And then go back to it and double-check whether it’s possible to exclude anything else.

Habit #2: Focus on One Goal at a Time

The second habit we suggest you develop implicitly relates to the first one. However, it comes under the setting of long-term goals. Beyond question, we all plan to achieve certain things in future – get a degree, become promoted to a higher position, pay student’s loan, buy a house, have a baby, etc. Being ambitious is great, but have you ever wondered why people who want so much frequently leave themselves in same life conditions (same job/apartment/wage/marital status, etc.) for years? The answer to this question is simpler than you could have thought: having many intentions at once results in achieving none of them.

Instead of dreaming of multiple great things you might (or might not) having in future, starts working towards a single objective of yours right now. For example, if you are willing to lose weight and get a promotion at your job, pick one of these priorities and spend the rest of the year on it solely. Go to the gym and work out as hard as you can instead of working overtime in the office. Or vice versa: if career advancement is more important to you in comparison with getting fit, stop torturing yourself with diets and feeling guilty about having missed another gym session because of the job duties. Good habits are all about being focused!

Such an approach will provide you with the ability to manage more during the day while completing the most pressing tasks. In addition, you will not have to procrastinate (procrastination is among the worst bad habits), which is an enormous advantage.

Speaking of procrastination, most college students postpone their essay assignments, which is not a good thing. Luckily, they can say “Write an essay for me” to get some academic aid from professional writers.

Habit #3: Combine the Trifle and Routine

The ability to properly organize your processes helps greatly elevate the implementation of things. Thus, you will have time to do more. It is especially important to organize different trifles. First, you should ask yourself: how frequently are you distracted by all sorts of irritants and petty tasks?

The simplest example is checking your email. Modern mail services are configured so that they automatically deliver messages to you on the computer and immediately notify you about it. The problem with that is that you might be involved in completing a certain task and such a notification can grab your attention.

Similarly, you might get distracted by all sorts of messengers (texts, Skype, phone calls, etc.). However, our brain takes time to switch from one task to another. If you get distracted, you lose time, which is something that you want to avoid. Therefore, we recommend you calculate how much time you lose in vain so that you minimize your downtime.

The easiest way to save time is to collect all small businesses in one period and deal with them at a given period only. It is also a good idea to start checking your mail in the afternoon and evening only.

In conclusion, we would like to say that being able to do more is a great habit, which will come in handy to you both in your personal life and at work. Now, you are informed on how to be successful and achieve more without overwhelming yourself. Stay efficient!

10 Most Common Habits of Self-Made Millionaires [Infographic]

There are a lot of self-made millionaires. It doesn’t matter what the exact statistic is, or how many self-made millionaires there are. The fact is, the self-made millionaires are the main people we can learn from about money. Of course, practically all millionaires can teach us something about money, because they’ve likely been taught themselves, even if they grew up rich (actually, especially if they grew up rich).

The money had to come from somewhere.

I’ve heard so much arguing about the rich inheriting all of their money, and those arguments are senseless. Because it doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. All that matters is for us to learn as much as we can for ourself. Unless you just really like useless worrying about things you don’t control and can’t change. In that case, go right ahead and worry.

These are 10 common habits of self-made millionaires, and honestly these are just the habits of anyone who is doing well financially, even if they aren’t a millionaire yet. I think we’d all do well to follow these tips.

I’ll go through what I think about each one, and then you can see the infographic where these ideas originated, afterwards.

1. Think in Abundance

Thinking big” is really important. You could call that “abundant thinking,” but I don’t think it’s only about money. Don’t limit yourself. Don’t say you can’t do something. You’re only capable of what you think you can do. Like they say, whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.

2. Surround Yourself With Like-Minded Individuals

This is one of the major keys to success. Your success and income will likely be the average of your three closest friends. This may mean cutting some ties, and making some new friends, or at least spending less time with the friends who don’t build you up. There’s always the other side of this. I think we should be helping other people as much as possible, so it’s a balance between building others up and being built up. I wouldn’t suggest taking this point to the most selfish extreme.

3. Shift Focus From Spending to Making Money

Focus on your net worth, and increasing it. That’s the key point here. Get a budget together, and stick with it, no matter how many times you blow it. Shift your focus to thinking of how you can earn more, and increase your net worth.

4. No TV!

I think this is just the principle of not wasting time on useless activities. This also includes social media, and scrolling the news constantly. We all need to decompress, but the average American watches around 25 hours* of TV a day, and most of us could cut back a little. I wrote all about this here.

5. Multiple Streams of Income

This is for diversity’s sake. It’s also often easier to add streams of income rather than increasing one stream. Always be thinking of more ways you can add to your income, especially passive income.

6. Be Generous

When my wife and I first started giving, everything changed for us. I am a Christian and I believe it when the Bible says we reap what we sow, but I also think this is a universal principle. Regardless of your beliefs, if you give, you will receive. I shouldn’t have to add a disclaimer about why that isn’t why you give, but you know…

7. Have an Exit Strategy

I don’t think it’s a requirement, but it is nice to have an exit strategy. It’s always great to have the possibility of selling a business and earning a large sum of money.

8. Get Into Properties

Real estate is always going to be a solid investment. The market will go up and down, but real estate will always be worth something. It’s another great diversity tool.

9. Leaders are Readers

I’m an advocate of reading. I set a goal to read 50 books every year, and typically hit it. I think it’s one of the most important ways to spend your time. I wrote about how to read more, and how to read differently to retain more.

10. Always Be Hustling

Gary Vaynerchuk definitely lives by this principle if you’ve ever heard him talk. If you want to be wealthy, you’ve got to stay on top of your game. I think that’s pretty straight forward. It’s always going to take a lot of work and dedication.

Now check out the points on the infographic…
